  1. This is the FINAL update to this!  I promise, maybe!

  3. It will trash any existing MacWorld94 loaded from prior versions!  Sorry, no time to make a converter!  If I make any more patches, they will NOT destroy existing data.  If I can get a last minute list of new booth numbers, I will create another app and it will just add the new data.

  6. Welcome to the MacWorld Boston 1994 Vendor List
  7.  
  8. This app contains a listing of vendors exhibting at the August 1994 Boston MacWorld Show.
  9.  
  10. If this list is inaccurate you can blame it on whoever uploaded the list to America Online.
  11.  
  12. You must install this app in a specific sequence.
  13.  
  14. You must install BOTH apps in this folder.  Order is not important.
  15.  
  16. Install "Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg" and then Install "MacWorld94.pkg"
  17.  
  18. If you install MacWorld94.pkg before you install Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg, do NOT launch the  MacWorld94.pkg app until you install Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg.

When you install Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg, it creates and populates a soup of Vendors exhibiting at the show.  If you don't have enough room on your card (or internal store) the package will notify you and it will quit.  You must have at least 90k free on your default store.  You can check this on the Extras:Card app.

  22. We suggest you install them: MacWorld94.pkg, Load Vendor Soup.pkg.

When you install Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg it will present a "Please wait..." screen.  It is now creating the soup.  This will take 1.5 minutes and cannot be interrupted or cancelled.  If it takes longer than 2 minutes (and look at your watch, don't guess!) then there's a chance it failed and you should reset your Newton.

  26. Do not reinstall Load Vendor Soup.2.pkg. It erases the vendor soups on each install.
